Rhodes murder accused sentenced

The man accused of murdering a Rhodes University student, who was on her way to her graduation ceremony, was sentenced to two life sentences by the Port Elizabeth High Court on Wednesday (10/12/14).

Mxolisi Kitsana, 28, of Motherwell, was charged with kidnapping, robbery with aggravating circumstances and the murder of Lelona Thembakazi Fufu, 24, on April 12 2012.

Kitsana was also sentenced to 55 years in prison for kidnapping.
