J-Bay murder case: new curator named

A NEW curator has been assigned to manage the assets of a German couple accused of murdering a Jeffreys Bay businessman.

This is according to papers filed with the Port Elizabeth High Court.

The couple were charged with the murder of farm owner Claus Schroeder, although his body has not been found.

The National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) applied successfully for the substitution of a curator, with Michael Tim Koe taking over from Nardus Ferreira, who has emigrated to New Zealand.

Ferreira was tasked in 2011 with administering the restrained property of Kristina Adler, 38, and her husband, Jens Leunberg, 36. - Lee-Anne Butler
