Teenager offered lead role in Big Apple show

A PORT Elizabeth teenager has been offered a lead role in a New York production after a successful stint at the Arts Expo in Orlando, Florida.
Luca Novello, 14, represented South Africa at the international expo last month and has since had callbacks from two major talent agencies.
The Alexander Road High School pupil – a singer and actor – said US record label Atlantic Records wanted to keep in contact with him.
The Albany Talent Agency in New York wanted to cast him in the male role in Middle School Madness, a production on show in The Big Apple which focused on teenagers and bullying. - Chanice Koopman
