Hunt continues for casino heist men

A MANHUNT is continuing for two men who stole R660000 in a robbery at the Boardwalk casino in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Warrant Officer Alwin Labans said yesterday searches for the men and the getaway vehicle were going on.

"All leads are being followed up," he said.

The robbery happened on the gambling floor just after 11am.

The suspects escaped out the smokers' section entrance, opposite the Boardwalk Hotel.

The matter has been handed over to the Hawks who will be assisted by a Mount Road police cluster task team. – Gareth Wilson
