DETERMINED to find "the next big thing", disgraced businessman Ben Nyaumwe has been dealt another legal blow but remains confident about his prospects while he looks for a job.

Despite packing his bags and leaving Nelson Mandela Bay earlier this year, Nyaumwe's legal troubles in the city are not over after the Port Elizabeth High Court this week granted a provisional liquidation order against his company, Majestic Silver Trading 118.

The application was successfully brought by building company Pro-Khaya Construction CC and trustees of the Desert Moon Trust, which also runs a business as a building contractor called Desert Moon Projects.

Nyaumwe's company had entered into a contract in a joint venture with the other two businesses to build university student accommodation in a deal that later went sour when Majestic Silver Trading ended up owing the joint venture hundreds of thousands or rands. - Lee-Anne Butler
