Opening of Mnandi access road hailed

THE R3.9-million Mnandi access road project in the Blue Crane Route Municipality was officially opened yesterday.
The completed paving on the road, which is an important link to provincial road networks, was one of many projects the municipality embarked on in all wards to improve the living conditions of communities.
"The Mnandi access road is significant in boosting local economic development as it also links the abattoir to the provincial road networks. It is not just normal paving, but concrete to accommodate heavy truckloads around the abattoir," Blue Crane Route Municipality mayor Marjorie Scott said.
The road also provides shortcuts for pedestrians along sidewalks. – Yoliswa Sobuwa
