MORE than R4-million will be coming the way of a Port Elizabeth businessman after a civil lawsuit that has stretched over the past five years.

Former Tapas Al Sol owner Donovan Noyle finally has a figure to put to his losses after his disastrous attempt to lease property for his pub, eatery and live music venue in Humewood's popular Humerail Centre.

Judgment in favour of Noyle's company, Rowan Tree 1169 CC, was passed in May 2012 by Judge Nambitha Dambuza, and the total amount owed to him was finalised last week.

The defendant company, Cowsta Beleggings (Pty) Ltd, owned by Dr Jaswantlal Narshai, will have to pay Noyle more than R4.6-million. - Riaan Marais
