BAFANA Bafana may not be representing the country at the World Cup in Brazil but a team of South Africans from the Eastern Cape are keeping the flag flying high. Stuart Keil, 37, of Port Elizabeth, is leading a team of audio and technical engineers at Brazilian stadiums to make sure the sound is pitch perfect.

Included in the team are Port Elizabeth's Warren Cooper, Chris Wright, Andrew Greeff, Bernard Wright and former Bay residents Brian Bessinger, Kevin Moorhouse and Ian Ossher, as well as Nigel Krause who hails from Jeffreys Bay.

Keil, who was on the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber's Top 40 Under-40 list and is involved with many ventures in Port Elizabeth, is the senior commentary manager for three of the stadiums, including the opening in Sao Paulo last night and the final in Rio de Janeiro next month. - Catherine Richards
