THE home of a Zwide grandmother will finally be rebuilt – six months after a car crashed into it.

The Methodist Church of Southern Africa has offered to fix Nonzima Ndika's home following the December 17 crash.

Reverend Sipho Somngesi said they had offered to help Ndika, 57, after the driver of the car failed to fork out for the damage.

"We were all touched by her story. It became even more so when we came to see her house. No one deserves to stay in such conditions. We have decided we will rebuild her house for her," he said. - Yoliswa Sobuwa
