Another prayer service

THE Nelson Mandela Bay Movement for Peace will hold another prayer session in New Brighton this weekend.

Coordinator Mkhuseli "Khusta" Jack said the last prayer service on Sunday was so successful they wanted to keep up the momentum.

"We will continue to rally the people of Nelson Mandela Bay against crime. People are tired of crime and we know that because the support last week was phenomenal."

The peace movement was started after a series of killings in an alleged gang turf war in New Brighton.

Jack said the prayer service would be held at Mbizweni Square at 3pm on Sunday.

The keynote speaker will be the Rev George Irvine.

"We expect an even bigger crowd than last Sunday," Jack said. – Thulani Gqirana
