Embattled Crous plans return to Bay

CONTROVERSIAL businessman Theunis Crous is considering moving back to Port Elizabeth, and says he is in the process of cleaning up "all controversy" surrounding him in the city.

Crous's announcement comes amid a legal battle over one of his properties, a luxury Summerstrand home, which has been occupied by former National Youth Development Agency head Andile Lungisa.

Crous said yesterday he felt sorry for Lungisa, who had made two offers to buy the home. Both contracts were later cancelled and he was effectively evicted from the property by the Port Elizabeth High Court last week.

The eviction application was brought by the joint trustees in charge of winding up Crous's insolvent estate. - Estelle Ellis
