Packed concert the climax of Collegiate celebrations

ONE of the oldest schools in Port Elizabeth celebrated a milestone birthday last week with a series of fun-filled events and past pupils coming to reminisce about their years at the school.
The Collegiate high and junior schools, which celebrate their 140th birthday this year and boast a rich history, wrapped up their massive celebrations on Sunday evening with a music concert which had the crowd in the filled hall serenaded by the schools' bands and choirs.
The concert was a culmination of the week's events, which included a fashion show demonstrating how the schools' uniform had evolved over the years. - Zandile Mbabela
