Court told of two fatal stabs

TWO stab wounds had been fatal, the doctor who did a postmortem on a Framesby woman who was murdered in her home told the Port Elizabeth High Court yesterday.

Dr Dave Kalev, chief medical officer of the forensic pathology service in Port Elizabeth, said he found Ruey- Lien Lin had suffered, among other injuries, one to her left lung and heart and another to the jugular vein.

Kalev said Lin would have lost consciousness quite rapidly as a result of her injuries in September 2011. - Lee-Anne Butler
