A CASE of culpable homicide against a prominent Port Elizabeth businessman was placed back on the roll yesterday, more than a year after the matter was dropped.

Raven Rungan, 42, owner of V&R Auto, was charged in December 2010 after he allegedly hit and killed a Muir College pupil with his BMW M5.

The incident occurred while Anre Grobbelaar, 18, was walking along Circular Drive.

His body was flung metres into the air. – Kathryn Kimberley
