FOR South Africa to attract foreign investment it needed to make itself attractive by first investing in itself, Nelson Mandela Bay business leaders said at the second annual investor seminar yesterday.
Business leaders said for the country to grow economically, it needed direct foreign investment but the government was not providing a conducive enough environment for investors to plough in their money.
Addressing nearly 1000 established and emerging businesspeople at the seminar yesterday, business leaders said while they were mindful of the need to create economic growth, government made it difficult to attract investors. – Zandile Mbabela
