Cops swoop on drug dealers

DRUG dealers in the Eastern Cape will be looking over their shoulders more often after police closed down a series of drug operations in the province over the past few weeks.

Tip-offs and random roadblocks have helped in the seizure of drugs, mostly dagga, worth R5-million in the past three weeks.

In the latest operation yesterday a man, 22, from Uitenhage was arrested at a North Street home where he allegedly cultivated and sold dagga.
