THE leadership of the ANC in the Eastern Cape will meet today to nominate candidates to stand against its chairman, Phumulo Masualle, to be appointed premier of South Africa’s third biggest province.
This gives President Jacob Zuma less than a week to decide who will lead the troubled Bhisho administration before the announcement is made next Wednesday.
This comes as the ANC retained control of the province after securing 70.9% of the vote in last week’s general election. – Mkhululi Ndamase
