Brown water problem resolved

THE brownish colour of the Port Elizabeth municipal water supply to Lorraine, Westering, Sunridge Park, Kabega Park, Sherwood, Rowallan Park, Bridgemeade and Framesby is expected to return to normal within two days.
Nelson Mandela Bay municipal spokesman Kupido Baron said the problem resulted from the water level of the Chelsea reservoir dropping to 7% on Monday following a power outage on Sunday at the Nooitgedacht water treatment works. - Herald Reporter
