Trial told of group sex at braai

A PORT Elizabeth man who is one of three people facing several sex charges involving children took the stand in the Port Elizabeth High Court yesterday and denied that he had ever had sexual contact with the two children involved in the trial.

But the 49-year-old, from Bridgemead, admitted he had been involved in an orgy with two adult women at his home in June 2011 while the children were asleep in another room.

The man, together with a 40-year-old man from Rowallan Park and that man's 41-year-old girlfriend face nine charges of sexual assault, causing a child to watch a sexual offence, sexual grooming, sexual exploitation, exposing a child to pornography, and failure to report a sexual offence committed against a child. - Lee-Anne Butler
