ABOUT 1000 people – young and old – braved the chilly weekend weather to splash around in mud in the second annual Muck Run event in Nelson Mandela Bay.

Held over two days this year due to the huge number of entries, the Muck Run was hosted by Zports at the Bushpig Adventures camp in Lakeside Road, Kragga Kamma.

Organiser and Zports owner Michael Zoetmulder said about 200 children participated in a 2km event on Saturday, while 800 adults who took part were divided evenly into 5km events on Saturday and yesterday. – Lee-Anne Butler
