Ramphele flirtation with DA robbed Agang of credibility

IT blasted onto the scene as a force to be reckoned with, but as national and provincial results trickled in yesterday AgangSA battled to garner enough votes for even one seat in parliament.

Perhaps an indication of just how bad a blow the party has suffered from the DA-AgangSA fleeting merger, Agang only managed to get about 0.25% of the votes.

A Nelson Mandela Bay Agang member, who did not want to be named, blamed party leader Dr Mamphela Ramphele for the poor election results.
