Dad takes on mighty Transnet

A FATHER who is concerned about his son's right to an education has entered the fray in the legal dispute between Transnet and independent school Ed-U-College.

The Port Elizabeth High Court yesterday granted John Peter Killik leave to intervene in the proceedings between the school and the parastatal.

Part of the ongoing wrangle revolves around the school fighting an eviction order brought by Transnet.

The school has been operating from Transnet buildings for the last two decades. - Lee-Anne Butler
