Minister blames corruption on past

SPORTS Minister Fikile Mbalula has defended the ANC government against claims of corruption, saying it had inherited a very corrupt public service system 20 years ago.

Mbalula was addressing hundreds of Walter Sisulu University students at the Nelson Mandela Drive Campus in Mthatha. Meanwhile, UDM president Bantu Holomisa was addressing a rally at the Rotary Stadium.

Mbalula warned students that democracy was not something that would fall from the sky but something that came with challenges and responsibilities. – Sikho Ntshobane

the ANC moight have as they claim inherited a “corrupt” public service from the previous regime, however they(the ANC)haven taken corruption to a whole new level. just because you inherit something it does not mean it has to stay the same or get worse. it means you cahnge it for the good and not the worse as they have done. Strange how it’s easy to institutionalise the worst of the past but not the ability to govern.
