Frolick on 'Zuma' committee

NELSON Mandela Bay ANC MP Cedric Frolick is one of seven party leaders chosen to serve on the special parliamentary committee set up to probe President Jacob Zuma's response to the Nkandla upgrade scandal.

The ANC said it they had submitted the list of names to the Speaker of the National Assembly, and recommended that Frolick be considered for appointment as the chairman of the ad hoc committee.

The committee is to look into the president's response to public protector Thuli Madonsela's report which found that he and his family had unduly benefited from non-security features of the R246-million upgrade to his private home. - Thulani Gqirana and Thabo Mokone
