WITH the weather playing ball over the Easter weekend, most stall owners left the three-day Splash Festival with smiles on their faces.
But there were some complaints from traders, mainly centred around congestion at the Hobie Beach venue.
As stall owners packed up yesterday morning, many called it the best Splash Festival in recent years.
The festival – which ran from Friday and ended on Sunday with a few people still roaming the stalls as they packed up yesterday morning – saw an average of 50000 people a day trawling between Kings Beach and Hobie Beach – Zandile Mbabela
