A BOY died last night after being crushed between two vehicles when he and some friends were asked to help a man push his broken-down car in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth.

Sibongeseni Mambu, 13, and three friends were walking down Thokazi Street, on the outskirts of the neighbourhood, when a man asked them for help after his car had broken down.

The boys were pushing the car towards Xhama Street when a second vehicle, the driver of which was allegedly drunk, came from behind and smashed into Sibongeseni, crushing him between the cars. – Riaan Marais
