Port Elizabeth High Court Judge Jeremy Pickering sentenced convicted child rapist Xolile Tose, 33, to life in prison on Thursday (03/04/14). His name will also be added to the national sexual offenders register.Pickering convicted Tose yesterday of raping a six-year-old girl in Motherwell on December 16 and 17 in 2011.
The girl, who is now eight years old, was so violently raped by the 33-year-old Tose she has to undergo a series of operations and has to wear a colostomy bag.
“This is one of the worst cases of rape that this court has seen for a very long time. I do not think you can get worse than this. She needed specialised treatment and must have experienced excruciating pain,” Moodley said.
