THREE suspected hijackers, who allegedly used a toy gun and knives to hijack a taxi, were arrested in a bushy area in KwaNobuhle yesterday.
They had allegedly hijacked the taxi in Majombozi Street, KwaNobuhle, on Monday night.
A passenger in the taxi, Samuel Rangula, 49, said the men got into the car at about 8.30pm and asked to be dropped off nearby.
“The driver kept on asking them for money and the next thing I heard a gun cock. They put the gun to the back of the driver’s head and started demanding that he drive them. The other two men took out knives. – Gareth Wilson
