EFF names candidate to lead East Cape

ECONOMIC Freedom Fighters (EFF) provincial convener Themba Wele has been named as the party's candidate for premier in the Eastern Cape.

Wele's candidacy was announced by EFF leader Julius Malema at a news conference in Johannesburg yesterday.

Malema was announced as the presidential candidate, while lawyer Dali Mpofu was named as the party's candidate for premier in Gauteng. -
