Driving lesson ends in catfight between instructor, student

A CATFIGHT between a driving instructor and her student landed both women in the dock yesterday on charges of assault.

But the allegations of slapping, scratching and name-calling were thrown out of court after the prosecution said a successful mediation had taken place.

Driving instructor Natalie Pillay, 33, of Ferguson, and Damelin University student Anelisa Toba, 20, appeared in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court one after the other yesterday, after they accused each other of assault and crimen injuria. -
