Survivor of attack dies in shooting

GELVANDALE residents clammed up yesterday following a shooting in which one man died and two others were wounded on Sunday night.
Damian Adonis, 33, was shot in the back while sitting in his Van Duuren Street livingroom with three friends.
It is believed he was executed after seeing his pregnant wife, Veronique, 29, murdered in December.
Veronique was stabbed in the neck and Adonis was severely beaten when four attackers broke down their front door during a supposed house robbery last year. - Gareth Wilson and Riaan Marais
