Nun’s death leaves gap in Kleinskool

THE “Mother Teresa” of an impoverished community in Port Elizabeth has been laid to rest.

Sister Noreen Mortell, who dedicated three decades of her life to serving Kleinskool in Port Elizabeth’s northern areas, was buried at St Dominic’s Priory Cemetery yesterday.

Her funeral service was conducted at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church in Eighth Avenue, Walmer.
