Delaying tactics dragged case on for three years

CONVICTED wife beater Frederick Gordon found numerous ways to delay court action – and got away with it every time.

His indecisiveness over who he would prefer to represent him saw him fire more than one attorney over the three year period.

His yo-yo tactics left him representing himself in sentence proceedings after all four private attorneys he approached refused to represent him, and the Legal Aid Board denied his request to come back on board.

Gordon was arrested in March 2011. It took three years to finalise his case. -
