REPRESENTATIVES of Uitenhage’s biggest high school, Molly Blackburn, have promised to restore order at the school which has been suffering under protest action for almost a year.
School task team (STT) chairman Sipho Nyanga said they met with Education MEC Mandla Makupula and superintendent-general Mthunywa Ngonzo in East London on Thursday and were instructed to send pupils back to school yesterday.
“… By the end we were told a plan was in place and a team would be sent some time this week to identify the problems and begin to rectify the situation,” Nyanga said.
