Actor does more than good deed for day

AN animal-loving celebrity who came to the rescue of a Port Elizabeth woman last week when she hit a cat in the street, has urged her to "pay it forward" instead of reimbursing him for vet and hospital fees.

Actor Marius Roberts, who recently moved back to Port Elizabeth where he grew up, assisted a 40- year-old beautician when she accidently hit and killed a stray cat on February 20.

Yesterday, single mom Michelle Deacon applauded the random act of kindness. She said she was driving in Luneville Road, Lorraine, at about 11pm when she accidently hit the cat with her car. "I immediately stopped my car but I was crying. I was so upset because I love cats," Deacon, of Lorraine, said.
