Girl, 8, in tears as she points out rape accused

A YOUNG girl cried in the Port Elizabeth High Court yesterday after pointing out the man who allegedly raped her two years ago when she was just six years old.

The Motherwell girl was asked to point out if the man who had raped her was indeed present in the courtroom.

The little girl – who has been testifying in camera with the assistance of an intermediary – bravely entered the room and looked at people sitting in the gallery before her eyes remained fixed on the accused, Xolile Tose, 33.
