MISTER DELIVERY

WHILE still limping from the impact of a global recession, Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said yesterday South Africa had rolled with the punches and was certainly open for business.

Delivering his last budget speech in parliament, Gordhan pulled off a tough balancing act.

He poured billions of rands into government social spending, gave some relief on tax, and committed to a much-needed infrastructure facelift to boost economic growth and create jobs.
