Joy as world surfing heads back to J-Bay

Jeffreys Bay lost its WCT event in 2011 when Billabong withdrew their sponsorship of the then J-Bay Pro. The new J-Bay Open – scheduled for July 10 to 20 – will replace that event and will complement the town’s Winter Fest over the same period, with organisers promising 10 days of surfing, music and lots more. It will be the sixth leg of the 11-stage WCT for 2014.
