Two wounded in gang shootings

TWO people were wounded in three suspected gang shootings reported within a 24-hour period.
Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said a man was shot in the right foot and in the left leg in Kobus Road in Gelvandale as he was leaving his yard around 11pm on Sunday.
The second shooting was in Kobus Road just after 9am yesterday when five shots were fired at a 27-year-old man. The victim suffered one gunshot wound in his back.
A 20-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with two shootings in Pienaar Street and Kobus Road.
In a third attack, a 26-year-old escaped without injury when shots were fired in Pienaar Street yesterday afternoon after an arrest had been made. – Riaan Marais
