AN eight-year-old child who was repeatedly and brutally raped for 15 hours two years ago, was forced to relive her nightmare ordeal yesterday when she testified in the Port Elizabeth High Court.

The slightly built Motherwell girl, who cannot be identified, was only six years old when she was raped and sodomised in what has been described as one of the most gruesome child rape cases in the Nelson Mandela Bay region.

The injuries she sustained in the horrific attack were so severe she has already undergone a series of operations and is forced to wear a colostomy bag, which causedproblems for her at school.

this is so sad. why must rape victims continually be re-traumatised by the court cases they have to be part off? this is a child and will have to live with what has happened to her for the rest off her life.she has a daily reminder in the form of a colostomy bag and even if therapy works she will be constantly reminede of what happened because of it. i hope that this sod is found guilty and the very highest sentence is handed down.
