Cancer woman doing well

THE family of a young Port Elizabeth woman who had a 12cm tumour removed from her brain earlier this month said she was doing well and they were overwhelmed by all the love and support from the people of Port Elizabeth.

As Natasha Brown, 22, did not have a medical aid, her friends and family started a fund to pay for the expensive operation and further treatment and rehabilitation she will need.

A part of the tumour, which is malignant, could not be removed during surgery. The tumour had been growing by 1cm a month.
