DA ‘blue wave’ of future

THE DA took its election campaign into the ANC’s Limpopo heartland when DA leader Helen Zille launched her party’s election manifesto at the Polokwane showgrounds yesterday.

Almost 10000 blue-clad party supporters braved the heat to hear parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko say the party “would be a blue wave that would cleanse the country of corruption”.

In her speech, Zille claimed a new mood was sweeping South Africa. She said much depended on the courage of every South African to choose change, and urged voters to choose the DA on May 7.
