ORGANISERS of the National Book Week have decided against hosting the event in Nelson Mandela Bay again, after striking municipal workers disrupted the event last year.

At a sports, recreation, arts and culture portfolio committee meeting on Friday, acting director Charmaine Williams said organisers of the Book Week did not want a repeat of last year’s fiasco and had decided to hold the event elsewhere.
