FORMER Grey High School pupil Luke Kibble made his family doubly proud when he was named one of the recipients of the NMMU vice-chancellor’s scholarship awards.
Kibble, who received outstanding matric results last month, and former Westering High School pupil Mandy Forson were among the 30 students to get the coveted scholarship.
They survived a stringent selection process that saw senior university staff searching countrywide for deserving pupils. Kibble’s father, Derek, said they were immensely proud of their son.
Forson had maintained an 88% aggregate throughout Grade 11 and matric. – Zandile Mbabela
