Tech-savvy priest connects to flock

HE is a young, funky colour-blocking priest who uses social media as a ministry tool while convincing the older women at his church he does not need a wife just yet.
Every morning during the week, St Barnabas Church priest Luzuko Ngantweni sends out a promise from God via Facebook, WhatsApp and BBM. With his social media sermons, called Today's Promise, he encourages people as they go about their daily lives.
"One morning when I was in prayer the Lord told me that He has a specific promise for each day and that He wants me to share these on Monday to Friday mornings so that His children, who are busy running around trying to make ends meet, could be encouraged not to give up on achieving the best for their lives.
