Mayors to be put in the firing line

WHY should you not be fired?
This is the question five mayors, their municipal managers and chief financial officers who received disclaimers in the 2012- 2013 auditor-general's report should answer in front of Mpumalanga premier David Mabuza tomorrow.
All municipal managers and chief financial officers from the province's 21 municipalities signed letters of agreement last year.
The letters, enforced by Mabuza, stated that they could be fired with immediate effect should their municipalities get disclaimers...
