SFB inaugural meeting

THE inaugural meeting of the St Francis Bay Business Forum (SFBBF) will take place at the St Francis Links at 6pm on Thursday July 26.
All businesses people with an interest in developing and furthering business opportunities in the greater St Francis area are encouraged to attend.
"Sleeping no More – St Francis Bay Open for Business!” is the mantra adopted by the steering committee members who have taken the first steps to create the framework for the forum.
"The Kouga Business Forum has accredited the SFBBF with official status and affiliation as one of the business forums in the Kouga Municipal district,” said steering committee member Peter Bridges.
"We would like to see business-minded folk from all industry sectors and communities join us to share in establishing our forum as the primary source of information, both for ourselves and for those who are interested in developing or investing in the area.
"We have based the concept for our forum on my experience in Dubai where regular ‘South African evenings' provided an opportunity for South African expatriate to gather and network,” added Bridges.
"The evenings provided a wonderful support base for many of us who were just starting out, or who were looking to grow our business. We believe this concept can work for St Francis. ”
