A lot of hard work was put in to make the club house look festive, with Christmas trees and hanging decorations depicting the theme for the competition. Traditional Christmas lunches were served on both days.
Besides donating the main prize of R1000 for each member of the winning team, Sunshine Coast Spar donated over R1000 worth of Christmas crackers as well as other hampers. Tops at Sunshine Coast Spar also donated prizes. Seeff sponsored a cash prize for the second team which was awarded together with gifts from two club members.
Between local businesses, individuals and club members, each team received a prize.
