New postal service for Oyster Bay

THE South African Post Office has opened a new branch in Oyster Street, Oyster Bay.
The owner of Oyster Bay Post Office, Alison Jackson, says there was a great need for a post office to service the local community.
"The nearest branch to Oyster Bay is Humansdorp which is 25km away.”
It is now possible for customers in Oyster Bay to pay their electricity, Telkom accounts, and more at the postal agency.
This means that they do not have to go from shop to shop to pay their bills. The agency is not online and these payments will be effected in 24-hours.
"We still have 100 post boxes available at our branch and all postal products will be available at the new agency,” concluded Jackson.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9am to 1pm. The agency can be reached on (042)297-0109.
