Irish cheer aplenty at Brazen Head

WITH its name linked to Ireland's oldest pub dating back to the 12th century, you can expect more than a little Irish cheer at Brazen Head which made a comeback to Nelson Mandela Bay's hospitality scene earlier this year.

Centrally situated in Cape Road, Mill Park, it's just the spot to get together with friends for a sundowner or two – especially with its spacious deck and equally roomy interior.

It also has plenty of "compartments" so you can either gather with the crowd around the bar or high tables inside, or find a nook if you're looking for a space that's a little quieter.

One thing is for sure: there is no shortage of Irish comfort to choose from on the refreshments side while there is also an extensive menu with a definite Irish tilt if you decide to stay for a meal. – Brett Adkins
